Healing

Healing is the capacity for repair, reconnection and adaptive recovery after injury, rupture or prolonged strain.

What this capacity means

Healing is the capacity for repair, reconnection and adaptive recovery after injury, rupture or prolonged strain.

Healing does not always restore what existed before.

A bone can heal differently after being broken. So can a person.

This makes healing less about returning to an untouched original and more about regaining enough integrity for life to move through the system again.

Some scars remain.

Some limitations remain.

Some knowledge remains too.

Healing can include all of that.
